TL;DR: On the product page, select Add purchase, then select Show optional details to add a batch number, expiry date, supplier, and photos. To change them later, select the pencil icon on the purchase.
Add details to a purchase
In current inventory, select the product.
Select Add purchase. The product is already filled in.
Enter the amount, date, unit, and price.
Select Show optional details.
Add the details you need:
batch number;
expiry date;
supplier, picked from your farm's supplier list or, in the Web Portal, added as a new supplier from inside the form; and
photos.
Save the purchase.
In the Web Portal, a purchase can also have a comment in an open field of Information.
In the Web Portal, your farm's supplier list is kept under Settings → Suppliers.
Tip: Check the amount, date, and unit before you save. You can't change them afterwards.
Edit a purchase
In current inventory, select the product to open its page.
Find the purchase you want to change. The product's page lists every purchase.
Select the pencil icon on the purchase.
Change the price, batch, expiry, supplier, or photos.
Save your changes.
Amount, date, and unit are locked when creating a purchase. You will either need to dispose, recount, or delete and create a new purchase.
FAQs
Can I change the amount, date, or unit of a purchase?
No. Amount, date, and unit are standard; however, you can change the rest of the details.
What happens if the supplier on a purchase has been deleted?
The supplier will still show on the purchase.
