TL;DR: The farm Owner turns on Farmable MCP in the Farmable Web Portal. Then, in ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Farmable, select + and sign in with your Farmable account. In a chat, type @, pick Farmable and ask your question.
Who is this for?
Farm Owners and Managers who use ChatGPT on the web, the desktop app or the mobile app.
Before you start, you'll need:
a Farmable account that's the Owner or a Manager of at least one farm; and
a ChatGPT account. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, your admin decides which plugins you can install.
1. Turn on Farmable MCP in the Farmable Web Portal
In the Farmable Web Portal, go to Settings → Integrations, open the MCP tab and turn on Farmable MCP.
Only the farm's Owner can do this, and nobody can connect until it's on, the Owner included. It can't be turned on from ChatGPT. If you're a Manager, ask the Owner to turn it on.
2. Install the Farmable plugin in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Plugins. Search for Farmable and select + to install it.
3. Sign in with your Farmable account
When ChatGPT asks you to connect, sign in with your Farmable email and password.
You only connect once. The Farmable plugin then works in ChatGPT on the web, desktop and mobile.
4. Ask your question in ChatGPT
Start a new chat and type @. Select Farmable under Plugins, then ask your question and send it.
You don't chat in Farmable itself: your questions always go in ChatGPT.
Disconnect Farmable
Open Plugins and select Farmable.
Select Uninstall plugin.
Uninstalling removes the plugin but doesn't sign you out of Farmable. Disconnect Farmable in ChatGPT's settings as well.
