Pesticide registers by country: the global directory of official PPP lists
A reference directory of publicly available national pesticide registers, who publishes them, how to access them, and where Farmable has built a live integration. Covers 34 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
- Every country has its own official register of approved pesticides, the names, access methods, and openness vary significantly.
- In most countries, using a product not on the national register is illegal. Your spray records must reference the registered product name and number.
- Farmable integrates directly with national lists for Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Norway, UK and USA, so growers see only approved products in the app, registration number included.
What are PPPs and PPPLs?
A Plant Protection Product (PPP) is any pesticide, herbicide, fungicide or insecticide used to protect crops from pests, weeds or disease. The term covers both synthetic and biological products.
A Plant Protection Product List (PPPL), sometimes called a pesticide register, approved product list, or national database, is the official record of every PPP authorised for use in a given country. These lists are published and maintained by each country's national regulatory authority. Using a product that is not on the national PPPL is illegal in most jurisdictions.
The register is the record
When you record a spray application, whether for an audit, a government report, or your own records, the product must be identifiable by its registered name and registration number. A brand name alone is not sufficient in most compliance frameworks. If you're spraying a product that isn't on the official register, you have an illegal application and a records problem at the same time.
Spray with confidence using your country's approved products and rules.
Withholding and harvest intervals at hand when you're planning the spray.
No typos, no duplicates, consistent records across the whole team.
Built for your region, growers see their nationally approved list, not a generic one.
Farmable integrates nationally approved product lists for 8 countries directly into the app, registration numbers included in every spray record.
